Our Story

Wildwood Rustic Creations is a family-owned furniture business in Topeka, Indiana, specializing in custom rustic furniture crafted from reclaimed barrels and pallets. Established in 2022, the business grew from an opportunity for Gary and Naomi Lambright to purchase an established family-owned business and build something they could continue growing together as a family.

From the beginning, Wildwood Rustic Creations has been centered around reclaimed materials, handcrafted furniture, and personal customer service. The goal is not simply to produce furniture, but to create unique pieces that customers can be proud to have in their homes or businesses. Every project is made with attention to the customer's individual preferences, style, and dimensions.

The business specializes in custom rustic furniture made from reclaimed barrels and pallets, transforming these materials into one-of-a-kind pieces with character and lasting appeal. Its work includes custom dining tables, coffee tables, wine racks, wall décor, engraved wood signs, personalized gifts, and other handcrafted creations.

Customization is a major part of the Wildwood Rustic Creations experience. Gary personally communicates with customers throughout the process to make sure they receive exactly what they want and are completely satisfied with their finished piece. This direct relationship with customers allows the business to provide a more personal experience than customers might receive from a larger furniture retailer.

Wildwood Rustic Creations also offers custom barrel work, including engraving logos onto barrels and creating custom live-edge pieces. As a dealer for Jack Daniel's Barrels, the business can incorporate distinctive reclaimed barrel materials into custom furniture and décor.

Sustainability is another important part of the company's craftsmanship. By working with reclaimed barrels and pallets, Wildwood Rustic Creations gives existing materials a new purpose while creating functional furniture and décor. The result is furniture that combines rustic character, craftsmanship, and a more sustainable approach to design.

Although based in Topeka, Indiana, Wildwood Rustic Creations makes its custom furniture available beyond the local community with nationwide shipping. This allows customers across the country to enjoy handcrafted pieces created specifically for their spaces.

At its heart, Wildwood Rustic Creations is a family business with a long-term vision. Gary and Naomi hope to continue growing the company and eventually create a business their children can take over one day. That family perspective is reflected in the care they put into their work and the relationships they build with their customers.

Whether you're looking for a custom piece of rustic furniture, a personalized barrel, or a unique addition to your home or business, Wildwood Rustic Creations creates handcrafted pieces designed to stand out and last.
